DEBRIS

Developed for the Editorial Design course, with a brief to explore the limits of a single DIN A3 sheet, DEBRIS is a pocket calendar created as an editorial extension of the experimental magazine of the same name — transforming that one sheet into a compact, portable and collectible object.

Each month features a distinct composition combining expressive typography, colour and images of small everyday elements that often go unnoticed. The pages can be detached and used as individual posters or placed inside a transparent phone case, extending the calendar beyond its conventional function.

Designed to accompany the magazine’s pre-sale, the calendar works simultaneously as a functional object, a promotional piece and a physical extension of DEBRIS’s visual identity.

My contribution focused on the calendar layouts and a closer involvement in the creative direction. Image editing and the remaining development decisions were carried out collaboratively with Jessica Silva.
