Editorial design — 2024

Developed as part of the Design Project and Research Methodology course, FBAUP Gallery is a monthly digital fanzine created to celebrate the artistic talent and creative diversity of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto.

The project responds to the limited opportunities students have to share their work, bringing together participants from different courses, academic years and creative disciplines. Each issue presents a selection of works alongside a short introduction to each artist’s background and creative process. Illustration, painting, photography, design and graphic experimentation coexist within an inclusive platform that encourages visibility, collaboration and the exchange of ideas across the academic community.

The first issue, published in December 2024, featured eight artists. Its digital format makes the publication easy to access and share, while an open call available through a QR code invites new contributors to take part in future issues.

The project was developed in collaboration with Lucas Brito and Jessica Silva. My contribution focused on the editorial design and cover, creating a black-and-white visual identity that combines large-scale typography, organic forms and a flexible layout system.
